Free Monthly Classes
We recognize that yoga spaces are not always the most comfortable for all people, so we’ve created affinity spaces to add some ease and cultivate joy. Whether you are brand new to yoga, or a member of our community, you are welcome. Free classes are scheduled on Wednesdays at 7pm at PYP - Forest and rotate each week. Our grief offering is scheduled for the last Friday of the month.
Queer Movement (Free Class)
Join Lauren Znachko (they/she) every 1st Wednesday of the month at 7pm.
Our queer movement class is meant to provide safer space for queer and trans folks to gather together and move our bodies. The guidance and facilitation is trauma informed with the intention to decenter cis-het notions of bodies, language, and togetherness. Movement will be gentle and by invitation, modifications and rest will be offered and encouraged, hands on guidance is based on explicit consent, which is never assumed.
Wear whatever feels most comfortable for you. If your movement is limited for whatever reason, we will make accommodations so that you are able to feel at ease and a part of the group. If you have questions, concerns, or would like to make requests ahead of time, please feel free to email us.

Movement for Grief (Donation Based)
Join Victoria Rutledge on the last Friday of every month 5:30-6:15pm. *
Grief, like anger, is a feeling that wants our attention, our energy, and our bodies. How do we hold such complicated and intense sensations? How do we transmute and alchemize them so that we can create more acceptance around our experiences? For some, movement is the key into this integration. This will not be a traditional asana class, instead we will use different movement styles to explore where things are seated in the body. You can expect a moving meditation in the form of shaking, dancing, and simple asana sequences designed to be repeated until what is heavy in our hearts has been given its appropriate space. This space is designed to hold all kinds of grief, and no one will be turned away.
This yoga for grief class is held directly prior to Victoria’s Yoga Nidra & Sound Bath class, please feel free to sign up for & attend both.
Donations will be collected at the door. If able, please bring a suggested donation of $15 in cash, check, or venmo. Registration for class is free.
